My name is Stephanie Myers and I am the President of the Boise Education Association.

Our members, both certified and classified, are among the most professional and committed educators in the state of Idaho. We pride ourselves on our relationship with parents and patrons and strive to continue to be the voice for all of our students.

My career began in the Boise School District in 1996 when I was hired at East Jr. High as a Special Education teacher.   From that first time in the classroom, I realized the importance that educators have in the lives of their students. I coached basketball, advised Student Council, scored volleyball and football games, and supervised field trips. It was in 2001 that I also became involved in the BEA as a building representative. And, as they say… the rest is history!

I am deeply committed to my colleagues, our District, and our profession. As a building representative, Executive Board member, Treasurer, Vice President, and now as President, I truly appreciate the work that the Boise School District and the Boise Education Association does to ensure that we remain the best place for educators to work and students to learn.
