Boise Educational Support Professionals

Education Support Professionals is a general term for all non-teaching education employees and was recognized  by the NEA in 1980. ESP’s are an important and integral part of education and in an effort to increase support and communication, the BEA formed the ESP Steering Committee to offer a contact for support staff in schools. The committee also works on increasing membership, visits schools to offer information about membership and rights.

The Four Simple Reasons You Should Join

A Unified Voice: Joining the association gives ESP’s a unified voice to communicate their issues and concerns.

Representation: Joining the association gives ESP’s on-the-job representation to advocate for their rights, including legal representation, if necessary. This is essential for job protection.

Member Benefits: Using association member benefits more than makes up for the cost of dues. Examples include discounted auto and homeowner insurance, low cost mortgages, coupons and travel packages.

$1 Million Liability Insurance Policy: Gives ESP’s peace of mind and protection in the event they are sued for work-related issues.

Education Support Professionals are the first and last school employees to see students in the school community. Through their various careers they touch the lives of students and ensure student success.
